Guild Focus
First of all, Perfect Insanity is a Raiding Guild. Perfect Insanity was founded on the idea that WoW is a game and will remain in that context. This is not a job, and no member of Perfect Insanity will ever be required to take part in anything that conflicts with Real Life. We value the ability to walk away from the game and not be worried about getting removed from the guild. Our Guild Focus is to Raid Weekly, see as much content as we can, get geared for progression and have fun doing so while maintaining a friendly and helpful environment for our members.

Guild Ranking
Each rank holds a meaning and value for Perfect Insanity Members reach for. The higher your rank, the more rewards you get for your efforts towards helping the guild reach its goals. The set of standards needed to progress through each rank are set by the Guild Leader and the Guild Officers. These standards will not be written down, but rather an evaluation of how you play and interact with the guild will be the determinating factor in advancement through ranks.

Member -- The rank of member has been created to establish those who have moved past the trial phase of Guild Membership and are working toward becoming a solid member that helps the guild progress and see new content. This means that you have checked all the boxes in the eyes of the Guild Officers and Guild Leader to fit in, be helpful, not bring drama and show the willingness to raid. Members will have access to guild events and will be picked second to the Raider. Those showing that they are ready to go above and beyond to progress the guild as a whole and to progress their character to better the guild will be promoted to Raider.

Raider -- The rank of raider has been created to set those who have gone the distance to assist first hand in guild progression apart from the regular member. Raiders are considered part of the core progression team for the guild. Raiders have shown they have a determination to progress past the easy content and do not mind spending hard earned gold and potions to master stratigies of new content. The Raider has also shown that he / she wishes to progress their own character and become better in the raid environment. This will be shown through researching ones class, increasing the capabilities of your class and getting 100% out of the gear currently equipped on your character. Raiders will have priority placement in progression raids. (Progression Raids are defined as those bosses not on Farm Status [Farm status meaning the boss encounter can be done in 1 attempt with any mix of players]). By accepting the rank of Raider, you are held to a higher standard than the Guild Member. You are expected to be present for each raid that you sign up for (unless RL emergency prevents) and to bring all consumables needed to complete the Raid Goal set by the Raid Leader. Those found to be unwilling or unable to meet the expectations will be demoted back to Member and placed back into the more Casual style member

Guild Loot Rules
Guild Loot rules are as follows:
-- All Raid Members may /random 100 for an item during the raid
-- Each Raid Member can be awarded a maximum of 1 epic item and 1 tier token per raid night
-- Items that are not rolled for may be placed up for OFFSPEC
-- Each Player can be awarded a maximum of 2 OFFSPEC items per night
-- Any item that is not rolled for either OFFSPEC or MAINSPEC will be DE'd and the shard placed in the guild bank
-- All attempts will be made to award loot prior to DE'ing items, even if this means a player will go past their allowed limit for the night.
-- Runed Orbs from Ulduar will be placed in the Guild Bank and used to craft items for guild members.

Guild Bank Rules
-- All members have access to Tab 1 of the guild bank. These items are issued on a first come basis.
-- All other tabs of the guild bank are accessed by Officers Only. The items on tabs 2 - 4 may be issued at the request of an officer.
-- All Officers must inform other officers online via officer chat of what and to whom you are issuing an item.

The above rules have been updated to allow progression as a guild to happen more often. We, as a guild, have stalled a bit in that we tend to try and include everyone in everything we do, even if they don't meet the requirements to take part in the raid of the night.

Everyone has an equal chance to make raider. RL constraints have nothing to do with someone making raider or not making raider. It is all related to ingame.

Research your character, go for better gear, help out guild mates, show up when you sign up for raids etc. I will evaluate each member to see when they can progress to the next rank.

Please take the time to read and understand the rules, if you have questsions, ask away Smile
